The Open Mix Company makes endurance fuel for ambitious amateurs. Cyclists, runners, hikers, anyone who needs to move hard for hours and would rather not pay a premium for chemistry that was solved decades ago.

Sports nutrition is maltodextrin, fructose, a pinch of salt. That's it. The rest is branding. So we published the formula — exact quantities, exact reasoning, the limits and the swaps — and built a company around mixing it well, packaging it honestly, and shipping it for what it actually costs.

You can buy a sachet of Open Mix 01, or you can read the recipe, order ingredients in bulk, and mix it in your kitchen. Both are fine. The point is that you get to choose, because the information isn't hidden behind a trademark.

We started this because we got tired of paying €3 for a sachet of sugar. If that resonates, you're in the right place.
